Staff Recommends:  Approval of the attached resolution.

Explanation:

At the March 1, 2017 Commission meeting Mayor Levy requested support to revise the Naming and Renaming Policy under the Public and Private Streets Criteria section to delete the requirement that the proposed name change requires the valid signature of two-thirds (2/3) of the record property owners which property abuts the street supporting the proposed name change.

This request was supported by Commissioner Blattner and Commissioner Biederman.
