Explanation:

The Broward County Healthcare Coalition (“Coalition’) conducted an Infection Control Assessment and Response Project under which various Cities participated in the project.  The Coalition has received grant funds and is authorized to purchase certain equipment through such funding in order to donate equipment to various Fire Departments.  The City of Hollywood’s Fire Rescue and Beach Safety Department is the recipient of said equipment donation.  In order to accept the donated equipment which will be used by the Department’s HazMat team, the Coalition requires the execution of the attached Donation Agreement.  The attached agreement requires City Commission approval as it includes an indemnification provision.
