Explanation:
A Request for Proposal was issued in August 2016, by the City’s Benefits Consultant, the Gehring Group, for medical and prescription drug stop loss insurance coverage. Of the 10 proposals received, Cigna offered the most competitive and advantageous medical and prescription drug stop loss coverage. Therefore, the attached Resolution seeks City Commission authorization to implement a one-year agreement for Stop Loss Insurance between Cigna and the City of Hollywood for a Not To Exceed amount of 110% of $884,682.00.
