Staff Recommends:  Approval of Attached Resolution.

 

 

Explanation

The attached resolution appropriates $782,002.46 in unexpended program funds as further detailed in Exhibit “1”.

Staff recommends amending the One Year Action Plan for Fiscal
Year 2014-2015 to use the available funds for capital projects involving sidewalk repair and installation, property improvement for commercial facades, holding cost for City owned property, moving expenses and temporary relocation of low- and moderate-income housing rehabilitation program participants, micro-enterprise lending, and paying down existing debt as further detailed in Exhibit “1”.

The Community Development Advisory Board held a duly-noticed public hearing to review the proposed amendment to the One Year Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2014-2015 and have forwarded a recommendation of approval to the City Commission.

Proper public notice has been provided to the citizens of Hollywood prior to this public hearing of the Hollywood City Commission.
