Explanation:

The year 2016 marks the 70^th anniversary of the National School Lunch Act, which makes it possible to serve nutritious meals at low cost to millions of students nationwide.  Schools across the country will be celebrating this important event during National School Lunch Week.  The theme for this year is “School Lunch - Show Your Spirit!”

A representative from the City of Hollywood’s school district will accept the proclamation on October 5, 2016.
