Explanation:

State Road A1A is on the State Highway System and is contained in the Florida Department of Transportation’s adopted Work Program for roadway maintenance improvements in the upcoming Fiscal Year 2017. The FDOT, City of Hollywood together with the Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency have agreed to perform Complete Streets and roadway improvements to State Road A1A to enhance the corridor aesthetically and improve the pedestrian experience.

 

The State of Florida Department of Transportation has made application to the City to execute and deliver to the State of Florida Department of Transportation a license agreement or agreements, in favor of the State of Florida, for the purpose of sloping, grading, tying in, harmonizing and reconnecting existing features of the licensor’s property with the with the highway improvements which are to be constructed, together with incidental purposes related thereto.

 

The properties covered in the license agreement are shown in the attached roadway plans pages 7, 8 and 11 as Parcel 910, made up of four 10’ deep driveway transition areas of varying widths.
