Explanation:
Pursuant to a series of resolutions, the City Commission has adopted its regular meeting schedule as the first and third Wednesdays of each month starting at 1:00 PM, except during the month of August.
The City Commission passed Resolution R-2016-016 which changed the regularly scheduled Wednesday, November 16, 2016 meeting to Tuesday, November 22, 2016 starting at 9:00 AM, with citizens’ comments at 5:00 PM.
The City Commission desires to move Citizens’ Comments from the November 22, 2016 Commission meeting to the November 2, 2016 Commission meeting at 5:00 PM.
The City Commission desired to amend Resolution R-2016-016 to change the starting time of the Tuesday, November 22, 2016 Commission meeting from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
the rescheduled changes to the November 22, 2016 meeting will allow the newly elected officials to be sworn into office.
Thereafter, regular meetings of the City Commission shall, unless otherwise provided by Resolution, be held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.
