Explanation:

The East 10 Feet of Lots 4 and 5, Block 6, of Hollywood Park, were conveyed by Quit Claim Deed, December 30th of 1969, for Road Right of Way Purposes, and Recorded in O.R. Book 4211 at page 329 of the Public Records of Broward County Florida. The Quit Claim Deed included a reversion clause, in the event the property was not used to widen the road within 10 years of the date of approval or December 1979. The property has been used as private parking for 1610 N. Dixie Highway, and has never been used for roadway purposes.

The City of Hollywood submitted plans to the Broward County Metropolitan Planning Organization for roadway diet or reducing the travel lanes to two each direction. In response Broward County Planning Council has designated this roadway segment as a “54 foot one-way pair Context Sensitive Corridor” in the Broward County Rights of Way Plan; subject to adopted list of improvements and typical section diagram.

The Dixie Highway Corridor plans will not require additional right of way for construction beyond the existing 50 feet on each side of the FEC corridor.
