Explanation:

The Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization is coordinating the Surtax Referendum Education Campaign and is seeking a financial contribution from each city based on $0.35 per capita. Hollywood’s contribution is $49,269.00 for its share of the education campaign’s costs.  The City Commission authorization is required to process this contribution as this payment will exceed the $50,000.00 City Manager expenditure limit.
