Explanation:
The Lift Station A-6 has served Carriage Hills Condominium Association for more than 30 years and approaches its end of life cycle.

The existing Lift Station A-6 needs to be upsized and upgraded to accommodate additional sewer flow from the Stirling Village, which is being built by Triangle Professional Building Corp. III, at 4150 Davie Road Extension.

The existing 20 feet by 30 feet easement for Lift Station A-6 cannot accommodate the upgrade activities.

The Carriage Hills Condominium Association, Inc. has agreed to execute the attached Easement to provide for the necessary interests in favor of the City to install, operate, and maintain the new Lift Station.

Easement also needs to be secured for the construction and maintenance of the new sewer gravity piping entering the wet well from Stirling Village.

The Triangle Professional Building Corp. III has agreed to execute the attached Easement to provide for the necessary interests in favor of the City to install, operate, and maintain the new sewer gravity pipe.

To complete the transfer of rights from the granting parties to the City, the City Commission must formally accept such Easements.

The Administration recommends that the City Commission authorize the appropriate City Officials to accept and to execute the attached two Easements, for the upgrade of the Sewage Lift Station A-6 located at 300 Ashbury Road, from the Carriage Hills Condominium Association, Inc. and Triangle Professional Building Corp. III.
