Explanation:
The Young Circle ArtsPark Advisory Board (AAB) was created in 2006, by Resolution R-2006-412 and revised by R-2007-48 changing the composition of the Board to a nine (9) members, with two (2) appointed representatives and two (2) ex-officio.
Currently there are nine (9) members: (1) Visual Arts Field; (2) Performing Arts Field; (1) Extensive Art & Culture Background - Hollywood Resident; (1) Arts Community At Large; (1) Broward County School System; and (3) Citizen-at-Large - Hollywood Residents.
Board members are appointed based upon their interest in the arts and culture and backgrounds in the categories of visual arts, performing arts, tourism, arts community-at-large, education, and a resident with extensive art and culture background.
Currently there is four (4) vacancies: (1) Visual Arts Field; (1) Performing Arts Field; (2) Citizen-At-Large- Hollywood Residents.
The City Clerk provided notice to the public that positions were available and solicited interest forms from the community to fill the current vacancies.
