Explanation:
The City Commission adopted Resolution R-2008-072 to establish the City of Hollywood Marine Advisory Board consisting of seven (7) to thirteen (13) members, R-2008-216 revised the Board’s composition by adding two (2) non-voting ex-officio members and R-2015-179 eliminated one (1) regular member, one (1) resident and two (2) ex-officio positions.
The Marine Advisory Board is comprised of nine (9) voting members with representatives from the following categories: three (3) Marine Industry Professionals, three (3) Residents and three (3) Regular Members.
The Board identifies goals and objectives on an annual basis and provides input to develop ways to increase revenue from marine industries sector in Hollywood.
