Explanation:
The Office of the City Clerk provided notice to the public that positions were available and solicited interest forms from residents to fill the available vacancies.
The Community Development Advisory Board presently has five (5) board positions available due to the term expirations of Gilberto Amador, Michael Bentolila, David Kout, Diana Pittarelli and Jim Rohrbach and two (2) vacant positions due to the removal or resignation of the following: Yolanda De la Cruz and Morton Weiner.
CDAB members shall be qualified electors in the City and priority shall be given to representatives from geographical areas of the City designated as qualified by the United States Census Bureau as having greater than 51% concentrations of low/moderate income (LMI) persons.
Currently, there are thirteen (9) CDAB members and two (2) members are from LMI areas of the City (David Kout and Siobhan McLaughlin). David Kout did not seek re-appointment, so Siobhan McLaughlin will be the only member residing in an LMI area of the City.
