Explanation:
On July 2, 2014, the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2014-204 which authorized the issuance of purchase orders for the purchase and installation of a CCTV and Automated License Reader Camera system and related components to be performed in separate sequential phases (the "Project"). The agreement was executed on February 18, 2015.

Because the agreement set forth that the project was to be implemented in sequential phases, where the first phase had to be completed and accepted before succeeding phases could occur and because there were several unanticipated issues discovered since February 18, 2015, City Staff has been working to resolve all of the prerequisite network and infrastructure issues which had been identified.

This included the 6-month remediation of the PDHQ radio tower, verification that the City had to purchase and install City owned poles as opposed to utilizing existing ones, and evaluation of additional locations for infrastructure and devices.

In evaluating additional locations, it was determined that the Rooftop of the Renaissance On the Ocean Condominium Association, Inc. ("Renaissance") would be a viable location to install, operate and maintain certain communications equipment.

Renaissance has agreed to allow the City to use a portion of the Building's roof pursuant to the attached Rooftop Access Agreement.
