Explanation:
The City Commission approved Resolution R-2014-250 authorizing the execution of an agreement with the Sayfie Law Firm for state lobbying services. Mr. Sayfie has satisfactorily providing lobbying services on behalf of the City of Hollywood for more than 7 years. Mr. Sayfie recently joined Ballard Partners as a Managing Partner of the new Ft. Lauderdale office. Ballard Partners is a Florida-based lobbying firm with offices in Tallahassee, Jacksonville West Palm Beach, Miami, Tampa, and Orlando.
The Novation Agreement allows for the replacement of the Sayfie Law Firm with Ballard Partners for the purposes of providing lobbying services to the City of Hollywood.
