Explanation:
The City of Hollywood Code of Ordinances sets forth guidelines and regulations relating to parking within the City of Hollywood and currently Section 72.151 authorizes Parking Enforcement Officers to issue citations for nonmoving violations. On December 16, 2015, the City Commission passed and adopted an Ordinance to amend Section 72.151 to allow Code Enforcement Officers to issue citations for nonmoving violations if warranted. In order to be consistent with the Police Department's operation and to enhance the enforcement provisions of Chapter 72, it is necessary to further amend Chapter 72 to include Community Service Officers.
