Explanation:

On September 17, 1975 the City Commission (“City”) passed and adopted Resolution No. R-75-110 which authorized the execution of a forty (40) year lease agreement with the School Board of Broward County (“SBBC”) for the purposes of allowing the City to improve and utilize land (Site No. 102.1) owned by the SBBC.

The current lease is scheduled to expire on September 17, 2015; and the parties desire to renew the Recreation Lease Agreement for twenty-five (25) years.

In addition to the Recreation Lease Agreement, the City of Hollywood for years has had partnership agreement with the SBBC, and currently renewed its Reciprocal Use Agreement with the SBBC.
