Explanation:
The City of Hollywood, as represented by the City Manager's Office, is seeking a qualified firm to perform responsibilities of a Lobbyist at the federal level.
The Lobbyist will serve in a consulting and advisory capacity to the City of Hollywood for all issues at the federal level which will include, but not limited to, issues in regular sessions, special sessions, subcommittees and committees, and other public meetings as appropriate.
On June 25, 2015, Notices of Availability for Request for Proposal (RFP) Number 4466-15-JE was posted on the City's website and sent to 608 firms on Bidsync.com in accordance with Section 38.42(A)(1) of the City's Purchasing Ordinance.
RFP-4466-15-JE was opened at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, July 16, 2015, and resulted in one (1) response:
* The Cormac Group, Washington , DC
Evaluation of the proposal was based on the following criteria as established in the RFP: Experience; Qualifications; Understanding of the overall needs of the City; Fee Schedule and Local Preference.
On August 18, 2015, the Evaluation Committee consisting of the Director of Community and Economic Development, the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Financial Services met and ranked the sole proposal received as follows:

The Evaluation Committee along with the Chief Civic Affairs Officer and the Director of Procurement Services recommend that the City Commission authorize the negotiation and execution of an agreement with The Cormac Group to provide Federal Lobbying Services.
