Explanation:
The City of Hollywood conducted its third annual Photo Contest. More than 60 entries were received and scored on creativity and originality, quality of composition, overall design, overall impression of the art and how well Hollywood was depicted in each photo.
The photo contest judges were: Susan Ostheim, Art Teacher at South Broward High School; Mike and Susan Stocker, Photojournalists for the Sun Sentinel; and Alessandro Di Sciascio, Systems and Programming Manager from the City of Hollywood Department of Information Technology.
In the Adult Category, the winners are:
1st Place Lori Singer
2nd Place Carlos Lopez
3rd Place Jay Auerbach
In the Children’s Category (under 18) the winner is:
1st Place Daniella Vazquez
In the Historical Photo Category the winner is:
1st Place Jon Morganstine
