Explanation:

The City of Hollywood Police Department has determined CCTV and Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) cameras serve as a deterrent to crime and can provide critical information in resolving crimes. As a result, the Police Department has identified several areas within the City where the installation of CCTV and ALPR cameras will serve as a deterrent to crime with one of these areas being A1A in the North Beach community area. Easements must be obtained to install the camera pole infrastructure on private property, which is required to effectively meet the coverage needs of the system. The North Beach Condominium Association, Inc. located at 4201 North Ocean Drive and the Parisi family located at 5605 North Ocean Drive have agreed to execute an Easement to provide for the necessary interests in favor of the City to install, operate and maintain the camera pole infrastructure and electrical power on their respective property. The City Commission must formally accept the attached easements to complete the transfer of rights from the granting parties to the City.
