Explanation:
Parcel ID No. 514124071210 (Washington Park Hallandale Add 25-29 B Lot 64 Blk C) consists of an approximately 25' x 100' vacant commercial lot located 75' west of 5401 Pembroke Road that was acquired in 2002 by certificate of title issued as a result of a foreclosure action by the City.

The former Director of Real Estate previously identified the lot as surplus property to be sold "AS IS" with conveyance by Quit Claim Deed and requested that Procurement Services issue an informal sealed bid for the sale of the property.

Sealed Bid Sale Number S-204 was opened at 3:00 P.M. on February 27, 2015 and resulted in written bids from two (2) bidders for Parcel ID No. 514124071210 as follows:

Sheryl White, Miramar FL $ 5,000.00
Michael Joshua, Miami Gardens, FL $ 2,000.00

On May 20, 2015 the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution R-2015-122 approving the sale of Parcel ID No. 514124071210 to Sheryl White of Miramar, Florida in the amount of $5,000.00. Subsequently, Ms. White notified staff that she is unable to make payment and close the transaction and she withdrew her offer to purchase the property.

The Director of Community and Economic Development and the Director of Procurement Services recommend holding the property and offering it for sale at a later date.
