Explanation:
On July 8th the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and City Commission Meetings have several related items relative to the JED Tower project. This item, in particular, is companion to the Development Agreement the CRA will be considering. The attached Developer's Agreement is identical to the companion item. The agreement is a tri-party agreement, which includes the City. As such, the City Commission is required to consider this item as well.
City incentives include fast tracking permits and approvals and cooperating with any street closures that may be required during construction, both of which are consistent with other development agreements.
