Explanation:
The Department of Public Works is seeking to procure a New Holland Agricultural Tractor, model TS6.120 HC, equipped with beach tires, to support the removal of sargassum seaweed from Hollywood Beach. The tractor will also be utilized for beach grooming, sand refinement, and general maintenance activities.
The equipment pricing and specifications were competitively solicited through the Sourcewell Agricultural Equipment Solicitation (RFP #082923), issued on July 11, 2023, and subsequently awarded to CNH Industrial America LLC under Contract #082923-CNH-2. The contract is currently active from November 13, 2023, through October 11, 2027, with the option for three additional one-year renewals.
CNH Industrial America LLC has agreed to extend the same pricing, terms, and conditions of the Sourcewell contract to the City. Glade & Grove Supply Co, LLC serves as an authorized dealer for CNH Industrial America LLC under this contract and will facilitate the procurement.
The purchase of this tractor will be funded by the CRA.
