Explanation:
On June 7, 2023, the City Commission approved a Blanket Purchase Agreement ("BPA") in an amount up to $1,128,942.00 with Circuit Transit Inc., for Citywide Micro transit/Circulator Services (R-2023-161). The initial term was for one year from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, with three additional one-year optional renewal periods.

On May 1, 2024, the City Commission renewed the BPA for an additional one-year term for the period from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, in the amount up to $1,128,942.00 (R-2024-132). The City's share is $535,096.44 and the Community Redevelopment Agency's share is $593,845.56.

The Department of Development Services, Engineering, Transportation and Mobility Division desires to issue a change order to the BPA to increase the City's share of the contract amount from $535,096.44 to $648,200.34 ($113,103.90) due to an increase in the level of service in the Western Hollywood Transit Zone and lower than expected fare revenues due to promocodes. The change order will not impact the CRA's share of costs. Adjustments will only apply to the Western Service area fully funded by the City.

Section 38.48 of the Procurement Code states that all change orders that the City Manager is not authorized to approve must be formally approved by the City Commission, which includes this desired change order.
