Explanation:
Historic Preservation Month is celebrated through the Country during the month of May. This program was created by the National Trust for Historic Preservation to spotlight preservation efforts by local governments and communities. Recognizing the importance of instituting a sense of pride, the City of Hollywood has selected "I Heart Hollywood" as the theme for National Historic Preservation Month 2015.

In recognition of this distinctive time, each year the City of Hollywood Historic Preservation Board and City Commission present awards in celebration of notable preservation initiatives within Hollywood. Selections were made by the Historic Preservation Board. Recipients will be presented within an award in honor of their achievement.
