Explanation:

The Police Department and the Parking Division need to purchase additional equipment and service maintenance for CCTV and license plate readers.  The services and equipment are being procured through a technology exception. The CCTV cameras and license plate readers are standardized equipment that require continuing maintenance and upgrade costs.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

A portion of the funding for the purchase of this equipment is available in the FY 2023 Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Plan in account numbers 001.204601.52100.546310.000000.000.000, 334.209901.52100.563010.000155.000.000, 446.159901.54500.564420.001493.000.000 and 446.150101.54500.552280.000000.000.000 and will be budgeted in subsequent fiscal years’ budget subject to approval and adoption by the City Commission.
