Explanation:
The Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts ("PRCA") desires to purchase dog equipment, a shelter, fitness equipment and, shade and safety surface systems for improvements at Oakridge Park.
The PRCA would like to utilize a Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program grant along with Capital Improvement Funds.
The requested improvements were competitively bid by Clay County through Clay County RFP No. 18/19-2, on March 18, 2019: Various Equipment and Amenities for Parks and Playgrounds on March 18, 2019, and awarded to Top Line Recreation, Inc. ("TLR") for an initial term of May 28, 2019, through May 27, 2022, with two one-year renewal options.
The Contract was renewed for its second renewal period from May 28, 2023, through May 27, 2024.
TLR has agreed to extend to the City the same pricing under the terms and conditions set forth in the Contract.
The Director of PRCA and Chief Procurement Officer recommend that the City Commission approve and authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order to TLR for park improvements in an amount up to $304,410.09.
Fiscal Impact
Funding for this Purchase Order was included in the amended FY 2024 Capital Improvement Plan and is available in account number 334.309901.57200.563010.001174.000.000.
