Explanation:
On April 8, 2025, the Community Development Advisory Board ("CDAB") met to review and evaluate the Proposed Annual Action Plan and projected use of funds for HUD Federal Program Year 2025/2026 and forwarded a recommendation of approval to the City Commission.

On July 2, 2025, the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2025-259, which approved the 2025/2026 One Year Action Plan that includes the eligible activities listed below for receipt of Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") and Community Development Block Grant Covid ("CDBG-CV") funds. In accordance with the City's citizen participation process approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the City Commission has final authority to approve the CDAB's recommendations and execution of Agreements with the following sub-recipients.

1. Community Enhancement Collaboration, Inc. for the Feeding Seniors Program in an amount not to exceed $49,250.00 (combination of CDBG and CDBG-CV funds).

2. Dr. Stanley and Pearl Goodman JFS of Broward County, Inc. for the Program in an amount not to exceed $44,375.00.

3. Liberia Economic and Social Development, Inc. for the LES Food Pantry Program in an amount not to exceed $51,688.00 (combination of CDBG and CDBG-CV funds).

4. Russell Life Skills and Reading Foundation, Inc. for the Russell Reading Program-City of Hollywood in an amount not to exceed $39,956.00.

5. Second Chance Society, Inc. for the Hand-Up Program in an amount not to exceed $12,000.00.
