Explanation:

The purpose of the Sustainability Advisory Committee is to make recommendations to the City Commission to develop environmental goals and implementation plans, create educational campaigns, and promote Hollywood’s accomplishments. There are 13 positions, two Business members, one South Florida Builders Association member, eight Citywide members, one alternate member and one student.

The current Committee members are: Anthony Aiello and Todd Delmay in the Business member; Graham Penn in the South Florida Builders Association member; Joanna Berens, Vyacheslav Cherkasov, Liliana Pacelli, Julia Poliadis, and Stephen Wechsler; Jade Vinet in the alternate member and Sara Adler in the student member categories.

Due to the resignations of Citywide members Rebecca Adler and Magin Perez whose terms expire in 2024, the removal of Citywide member Stephanie Anderson whose term expires in 2024, the expiring term of Alternate member Jade Vinet, and the expiring term of Student member Sara Adler, there are three Citywide member vacancies, one Alternate member vacancy and one Youth member vacancy.
