Staff Recommends: Approval of the attached Resolution.

 

 

Explanation:

The City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2022-367, amending The One Year Action Plan For Federal Fiscal Year 2019-2020 To Re-Allocate $194,000.00 Of Community Development Block Grant COVID-19 Funds For Program Use; And Authorizing The City Manager To Execute Any And All Documents To Facilitate Such Amendments.

 

Liberia Economic and Social Development, Inc. (“LES”) provides food for Hollywood residents at the LES Food Pantry and is experiencing a shortage of food.

 

The Department of Development Services/Community Development Division desires to utilize current CDBG-CV funds to support the LES Food Pantry by providing funding to LES to provide food to Hollywood seniors 62 and older.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

Funding for this agreement is available in the FY 2023 Operating Budget in account numbers; 115.160101.55400.584711.001220.000.000, 115.160101.55400.584711.001409.000.000, 115.160101.55400.583211.001409.000.000
