Explanation:

The Police Department plans to apply to the Broward County Marine Advisory Committee to receive grant funds in the amount of $67,064.00.  The purpose of applying for the grant funding is to promote and enhance the safe and pleasurable use of the navigable waterways within the City; and to protect and preserve the natural and man-made marine resources available throughout the City.

 

If awarded, the City will abide by the terms and conditions set forth by the Broward County Marine Advisory Committee for use of said grant funds.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

If awarded, the grant funding will be appropriated in the FY 2025 Operating Budget of the Police Grant Fund (Fund 113).
