Explanation:
The Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts ("PRCA") recommends the purchase and installation of fitness equipment, shade and safety surface to create a fitness zone at Stanley Goldman Memorial Park to promote the City's strategic focus area of Quality of Life and Strong Neighborhoods.
The desired equipment was competitively bid by the School District of Osceola County through Solicitation No. SDOC-24-B-094-ML on February 7, 2024, and awarded to Topline Recreation Inc. ("Topline") under SDOC-24-B-094-ML ("Award Document"). The current term of the Award Document is from April 23, 2024, through April 22, 2027. Top Line has agreed to extend to the City the same pricing under the terms and conditions set forth in the Award Document.
The Director of the PRCA and Chief Procurement Officer recommend that the City Commission approve and authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order to Topline for the purchase and installation of fitness equipment, shade and safety surface in an amount up to $146,372.53.
Fiscal Impact:
Funding for this Purchase Order was included in the amended FY 2025 Capital Improvement Plan and is available in account number 301.309902.57200.563010.000142.000.000 and 301.309902.57200.564531.001947.000.000.
