Staff Recommends: Approval of Attached Resolution.

 

 

Explanation:

The purpose of the Sustainability Advisory Committee is to make recommendations to the City Commission to develop environmental goals and implementation plans, create educational campaigns, and promote Hollywood’s accomplishments.

 

There are fifteen (15) positions. The current Committee members are Vyacheslav Cherkasov, Natacha Desamours, Jordan Holaday, Sheleen Khan, Nathan McCune, Michael Naim, Liliana Pacelli, Graham Penn, Julia Poliadis, and Adam Roberti. Due to the resignation of Business Member Lucas Puls, the resignation of Citywide Member Peter Schecter, the resignation of Youth Member Zachary Manasse, the expiring term of Alternate Member Michael Naim, and two unfilled Student Alternate Member positions, there is one (1) Business Member vacancy, one (1) Citywide Member vacancy, one (1) Student Member vacancy, one (1) Alternate Member vacancy, and two (2) Student Alternate Member vacancies.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

Approval of this resolution will not fiscally impact the City as this is a proposal to appoint board members.
