Explanation:
Since its founding in 1992, the Marti Huizenga Club has stood as a beacon of hope and opportunity within the Hollywood community, enabling the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County to positively impact the lives of more than 12,000 children and teens annually, ages 6 to 18.
The City of Hollywood proudly recognizes and applauds the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County for 60 years of extraordinary service, leadership, and commitment to empowering the next generation and strengthening our community.
The proclamation will be accepted by Cameron Warrick, Director of Development & Corporate Relations, and Club Director Tywon Jones of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.
Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this proclamation will not fiscally impact the City.
