Explanation:
In FY 2026, the Brady Hunter Foundation, a Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, donated $17,500.00 to the Police Department. These funds were used to purchase a Police Canine. Canine “Hunter” supports critical law enforcement functions, including apprehension, tracking, detection, and community engagement, thereby strengthening our ability to protect life, deter crime, and serve with excellence.
Fiscal Impact:
The donation of $17,500 was included in the amended FY 2026 operating budget.
