Explanation:
The City of Hollywood water distribution system has been in operation for approximately (90) ninety years and the hydraulic model has been continuously updated with the growth of the water distribution system.

Many upgrade projects have been implemented in the water distribution system within the last decade including replacement/upsizing of water main pipes, installation of the West Hollywood Pumping and Storage facility to improve the system capacity and address fire flow requirements.

Updating the existing water distribution system hydraulic model would allow the City to take advantage of the recent achievement in real-time water billing data collection, link the water model to actual water consumption data, simulate the high service pumps with real pump curves, include all recent changes such as the West Hollywood Pumping and Storage facility.

The existing water distribution system hydraulic model has not been thoroughly calibrated except for verification/comparison with limited data.

Malcolm Pirnie, Inc./Arcadis and the City of Hollywood have a Professional Services Agreement for General Engineering Consulting Services for Water projects, which was approved by the City Commission via Resolution R-2003-002 on January 8, 2003, amended via Resolution R-2012-152 on June 6, 2012 and renewed via Resolution R-2013-110 on May 1, 2013 and ha...
