Explanation:
The Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts ("PRCA") is seeking to accept, if awarded, grant money in the amount of $200,000.00 from The Florida Inland Navigation District 2022 Waterways Assistance Program Grant.
These funds would be one to one matched by the pending award of The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's 2022 Boating Improvement Program Grant to PRCA. These funds would be utilized for the Holland Park Boat Ramp Improvement Project which includes removal of existing structures and installation of new concrete piles, ramps and floating docks.
Fiscal Impact:
If awarded, grant funding in the amount of $200,000.00 will be appropriated in the FY 2022 Operating Budget as detailed in Exhibit 1.
The estimated value of the City's match is $200,000.00, which will be funded by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's 2022 Boating Improvement Program Grant, if awarded.
