Explanation:
The Department of Development Services, Planning and Urban Design Division would like to renew a Blanket Purchase Agreement for General Planning Services Consultation, based on the existing contract between the City of Oakland Park and Calvin, Giordano, & Associates, Inc.
A piggyback contract extension was granted to the Planning Division for the period between October 17, 2023 to February 14, 2024.
The Planning and Urban Design Division seeks to continue the services and has been authorized to piggyback on the competitively bid contract through Bid No. RFQ-030218, awarded to Calvin, Giordano, & Associates, Inc. by the City of Oakland Park. The current term of the contract is from October 17, 2023, to October 16, 2025, with no option for renewal.
Calvin, Giordano, & Associates, Inc. has agreed to extend the same pricing and terms as the existing contract, covering the period from April 4, 2024 to October 16, 2025, for a total amount of $370,000.00.
Fiscal Impact:
A portion of the funding for this agreement will be made available in the Fiscal Year 2024 Operating Budget as detailed in Exhibit 1, subject to approval of this resolution.
The remainder of the required funding is available in account number 001.140401.51500.531170.000000.000.000.
