Explanation:

The Police Department requires replacement pursuit vehicles. The vehicles are being purchased through a best-interest procurement method due to ongoing difficulty in obtaining pursuit vehicles because of car supply chain issues.

Fiscal Impact:

Funding for the purchase of pursuit vehicle replacements was included in the FY 2024 Capital Improvement Plan and is available in account number 557.209901.51900.564520.001761.000.000.
