Staff Recommends: Approval of the Attached Resolution.

Explanation:
The Police Department requires the purchase of twenty-three (23) Chevy Caprice Patrol Vehicles to replace those patrol vehicles that have reached or surpassed their life expectancy and road worthiness by age, mileage and wear and can no longer be relied upon to perform at required operational levels.

The Florida Sheriff's Association competitively bid the desired 2014 Chevy Caprice patrol vehicle in Bid Number 13-21-0904, for their use and reliance by government entities within the State of Florida.

Stingray Chevrolet, LLC was the lowest responsible bidder as awarded by the Florida Sheriff's Association.

The Police Department desires to purchase twenty-three (23) Chevy Caprice patrol vehicles from Stingray Chevrolet, LLC in Plant City, Florida, as listed in the Florida Sheriff's Association Bid Number 13-21-0904.

Stingray Chevrolet, LLC has agreed to provide these specialized police vehicles as listed in the Florida Sheriff's Association Bid Number 13-21-0904 to the City under similar pricing, terms and conditions.
