Explanation:
The Community Redevelopment Agency ("CRA") on behalf of the Department of Public Works desires to purchase a Beach Office Trailer for the Beach Maintenance Division, as the current trailer is beyond its useful life and beyond the ability to repair.
The desired Beach Office Trailers were competitively bid by Sourcewell through Solicitation No. RFP 12082 2 Relocatable Building and Storage Solutions with Related Services on October 20, 2022, and awarded to McGrath RentCorp d/b/a Mobile Modular Management Corporation ("Mobile Modular") under Contract No. 120822-MRR ("Contract").
The current term of the Contract is from February 22, 2023 through February 24, 2027, with an option to renew the Contract for an additional one-year period. Mobile Modular has agreed to extend to the CRA the same pricing under the terms and conditions set forth in the Contract. The period of performance during which the desired Beach Office Trailer will be acquired are over a one-year period for an amount up to $262,660.00.
The Executive Director of the CRA and Chief Procurement Officer recommend that the CRA Board approve the issuance of a Purchase Order to Mobile Modular for a Beach Office Trailer over a one year period in an amount up to $262,660.00.
Fiscal Impact:
Funding will be made available in Fiscal Year 2026 CRA Operating Budget, subject to approval of this resolution
