Explanation:
The City desires to continue to offer certain special events and media/marketing advertising buys, previously funded by the Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency ("CRA"), now deemed ineligible expenses because of recent state legislation. As a result, this Resolution seeks authorization to amend the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Plan adopted and approved by the City Commission on September 22, 2022 pursuant to Resolution R-2022-283 and R-2022-284, respectively.

* Hollyweird Halloween Downtown Hollywood Block Party
* SalsaFest
* My Hollywood Pride Event
* St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival in Downtown Hollywood
* Hollywood Mardi Gras
* Maestro Marley Cup
* Winter Wonderland/Holly Jolly
* Chalk Art Festival
* ArtsPark Experience
* Savor SoFLO Food & Wine Festival
* Candy Cane Parade
* 4th of July Spectacular on Hollywood Beach
* Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
* Juneteenth
