Explanation:
The City owns, operates, and maintains various stormwater facilities including ten stormwater pump stations, 306 outfalls, 45 weir control structures, 4,689 storm drains and catch basins, one mile of force mains, 12 miles of trench drains, and 70 miles of stormwater pipe. The proper inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of this system is essential to reducing flooding and making the community more resilient. The Department of Public Utilities ("DPU") therefore desires to acquire inspection, cleaning, and other preventative maintenance services for the citywide stormwater drainage system.

Similar services were competitively bid by the City of Fort Lauderdale through BID No. 12520-813, Stormwater Infrastructure Cleaning and Maintenance Services, on November 29, 2021, and awarded to Envirowaste Services Group, Inc. ("Envirowaste"). The current term of the City of Fort Lauderdale contract is from November 16, 2023, through November 15, 2025, with an option to renew for additional two-year periods.

Envirowaste has agreed to extend the same pricing, terms, and conditions as set forth in the City of Fort Lauderdale Contract (No. 21-0878) to the City of Hollywood. The period of performance for the City's Blanket Purchase Agreement ("BPA") will be from execution through November 15, 2025, in an annual amount of up to $500,000.00.
