Staff Recommends:  Approval of the attached Resolution.

Explanation:

Based on the delivery dates of the current leased vehicles, the lease expiration dates for 20 vehicles are January 31, 2024, and March 31, 2024. The lease of replacement vehicles has been delayed to the lack of vehicle availability and pricing. The Code Compliance Division desires to renew the current vehicle lease of the 20 vehicles through March 31, 2025 at the current monthly lease price of $600.46 per vehicle.

Fiscal Impact:

A portion of the funding for the vehicle lease extension is available in the FY 2024 Operating Budget in account number 001.220101.53900.540050.000000.000.000, and will be budgeted in subsequent fiscal years’ operating budgets subject to the approval and adoption by the City Commission.
