Explanation:
Effective May 1, 2022, Administrative Policy HR-097 was approved by the City Manager, establishing the Excellence in Continuous Improvement Award. This Award encourages employees at all levels of the organization to implement small improvements, or “quick wins,” within their departments and offices. It recognizes individuals or teams who have successfully executed projects that are both innovative and impactful in enhancing City operations.
A selection committee composed of two Department Directors, one Director designee, and two Assistant City Managers, reviewed ten submissions from various departments and offices, including Community Development, Police, Public Utilities, Public Works, CMED, Financial Services, Parking (Code Compliance) and Development Services. A brief description of the submitted projects is attached for your reference.
Adam Reichbach, Assistant City Manager, will recognize the nominees and then present the award to the winning team.
Special recognition to the committee members who had the difficult task of selecting only one recipient team amongst a group of competing projects.
Fiscal Impact:
Funding for expenses related to this award was available in the FY 2025 Operating Budget in account number 001.116001.51300.551010.000000.000.000.
