Explanation:
The attached Resolution seeks City Commission authorization to execute the attached Agreement between the City of Hollywood and the City of Pembroke Pines for the use of Pembroke Pines training facility on an as needed basis to provide the SWAT, K-9, field force, and training units as well as other officers, firearms and other related training. The agreement requires the City, to the extent permitted by law to indemnify, hold harmless and defend the City of Pembroke Pines for any actions that may arise during the use of the facility. Upon utilization of the training facility, the City will be required to remit a range use payment based upon the pricing schedule set forth in the attached agreement.  It is estimated that the annual cost for use of the training facility would be in the estimated amount of $2500.00.
