Body

Staff Recommends:  Approval of the attached Resolution.

Explanation:

The current Blanket Purchase Agreement (“BPA”) with Calvin Giordano (BPA No. PA600536) was approved by the City Manager for an annual amount not to exceed $100,000.00 over a one-year period. This contract was put in place last summer to assist with surges in development and other Planning related tasks.

At this time, a change order is needed to increase the annual amount to $200,000.00 annually, which is above the City Manager’s approval threshold.

This Resolution also includes the option to renew the agreement for an additional two-year period, subject to the renewal of services by the City of Oakland Park under the same terms, conditions, and pricing.

Fiscal Impact:

Funding for this Change Order will be made available in Fiscal Year 2023 Operating Budget as detailed in Exhibit “1”, subject to approval of this resolution. One-time salary savings will be used to fund this agreement in FY23.
