Body

Staff Recommends: Approval of the attached Resolution.

Explanation:

The Fleet Maintenance Division of the Department of Public Works requires aftermarket vehicle parts and supplies to support maintenance of the City’s Police fleet, General Services fleet, and Fire Rescue general fleet vehicles.

The parts, supplies, and accessories were competitively solicited by Sourcewell through RFP #100124, awarded on October 1, 2024, to Genuine Parts Company d/b/a NAPA Auto Parts (“NAPA”) under contract #100124-GPC. The contract term runs from January 9, 2025, through January 10, 2029, with three optional one-year renewals.

Staff recommend proceeding with the purchase of aftermarket vehicle parts, supplies and accessories from NAPA under Sourcewell contract #100124-GPC for the specified performance period and annual cost.

Fiscal Impact:

A portion of the funding for the Master Services Agreement is available in the FY 2026 Operating Budget in account number 557.510101.51900.552120.000000.000.000, and will be budgeted in subsequent fiscal years’ operating budgets subject to approval and adoption by the City Commission.
