Explanation:
It is the recommendation of the Community Redevelopment Agency (“CRA”) Executive Director that the CRA Board approve, adopt, and accept the positions established as part of FY 2026 Operating Budget of the Hollywood CRA.
The number of positions authorized for Fiscal Year 2026 is being established as five (5) and includes three (4) full-time and two (2) part-time positions. The position count represents a significant decrease from that of the previous fiscal year and can be attributed to the transition of CRA staff to the City of Hollywood, pending the imminent sunset of the CRA in July 2027.
This Position Control resolution represents the staffing deemed necessary by the CRA Executive Director to provide for the fiscal year 2026 CRA operations.
Fiscal Impact:
Funding for these positions has been allocated in the FY 2026 Operating Budget for both the Beach and Downtown districts of the CRA.
