Explanation:
The Department of Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts ("PRCA") desires to purchase athletic field maintenance services for the following facilities: Boggs Field East; Boggs Field West; Dowdy Field; Driftwood; Hollywood West; Rotary Park; and Washington Park.
On January 22, 2025, Request for Proposals Number RFP-272-25-GJ ("RFP") was electronically advertised on OpenGov.com to solicit the desired Athletic Field Maintenance Services in accordance with Section 38.43(A) of the Procurement Code.
On April 8, 2025, oral presentations were provided by the three shortlisted firms, followed by a public Selection Committee meeting during which the Selection Committee ranked the shortlisted firms. Scores were compiled to arrive at the following rankings, with the lowest score being the highest ranked:
1. Brightview Landscape Services, Inc. 6 Points
2. SFM Landscape Services, LLC 9 Points
3. Juniper Landscaping of Florida, LLC 15 Points
The Selection Committee recommends that the City Commission authorize the negotiation and execution of a Blanket Purchase Agreement to the highest ranked firm, Brightview Landscape Services, Inc., for a term of two years with an option to renew for three additional one-year periods to provide Athletic Field Maintenance.
Fiscal Impact:
A portion of the funding for the Blanket Purchase Agreement is available in the FY 2025 Operating Budget in account number 001.300701.57200.531170.000000.000.000 and will be budgeted in subsequent fiscal years' operating budget subject to approval and adoptio...
